Aqua Timez is Japanese music group formed in 2003. They are consisting of four men and a woman. Futoshi (Vocals), Daisuke (Guitar & background Vocals), OKP-Star (Bass Guitar & background vocals), mayuko (keyboard), Tasshi (Drum). Also their former drummer, Abiko who went out from this band after releasing of Nana Iro no Rakugaki. The name of Aqua Timez was taken from name of magazine. Timez that they read. While the word of Aqua, they added hurriedly because their group must have a name. Aqua Timez is under the EPIC Records Japan (Sony Music Entertainment) Label.
On August 24, 2005 they released mini Album entitled Sora Ippai ni Kanaderu Inori under the indie label. Their debuted Mini Album was under Major Label, Nana Iro no Rakugaki which was released on April 5, 2006.
Aqua Timez was formed in 2003 by the vocalist, Futoshi and the bassist OKP-Star. They were assisted by keyboardist, Mayuko and guitarist Daisuke as the support musician. Then, both of them became fixed member. In the band contest called Chance! which was held in Shinseido, they won successively twice time in 2003 and 2004. They record their own album Kanashimi no Hateni Tomoru Hikari, and hold a show on the roadsides in Tokyo, such as Kichijoji and Shibuya.
In 2007, this band released their 4th single entitled Alones and was used as 6th opening of Bleach anime series. It peaked at #3 on the Oricon Single. Also following on January 14, 2009, Aqua Timez released a single called Velonica, which was used as the 9th opening for the same anime.

On January 27, 2010 Aqua Timez released their 11th single entitled Ehagaki No Haru (絵はがきの春), contains 4 tracks and peaked at #8 on the Oricon Single.
And their 2009 album, entitled Utai Sarishi Hana (うたい去りし花; A Flower That Sings and Disappears), which was released on March 11, 2009. By containing 15 songs and peaked at #4 on the Oricon Charts.
