1. Band Profile

Charcoal Filter is a Japanese Rock Band, founded in 1996. They are Yuzo Otsuka on Vocals, Takahiro Konagawa on Guitar, Yuki Yasui on Bass, and Shintaro Takano on Drum. One of their most popular single is Tightrope which was used as ending theme of the Anime Series "Gensomaden Saiyuki" as 1st ending in 2000. And Followed by "Brand-New Myself" in 2003. From 2002 to 2004 they were produced by Seiji Kameda. They founded the band when they were still in Senior High School.

Beginning on their first indie titled "Gimme a Light", but it is Limited to 1000 copies only. And coincide with their success of Indie's sales, they were beginning to make first single titled "I start again".

In early 2007, they were reported that they disbanded. And each personnel made their own band.
