1. Band ProfilesUVERworld is a Japanese rock Band consisting of 5 members that originated from Kusatsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. They are formed in 2004. The band's name comes from Akira's idea, guitarist of this band, who suggested the word uver and world; uver derived from a words mixture, it is "über" (German) and over (English). According to them, Uverworld is a beyond their own world. Their fan club called Neo SOUND Crew, and their mascot named Uverchan.
UVERworld consisting of Takuya (vocals), Katsuya and Akira (Guitar), Nobuto (bass) and Makoto Tarou (drum). Initially, the name of this band was Sangoku Road that means "Sound" and "Goku (very)", with 7 members. Just like other bands, changing of their members was occury in 2003, where the saxophonist and both of their vocals dropped out. At that time, they worried that where they must go for the carrier. But, by their left members, they were trying to make a fresh song, and put into another music genre. In 2003, they were succes by selling of their demotape and then they signed into G8!Records. And directly, they had released their debut single on July 6, 2005, titled D-Technolife, which was used for 2nd opening theme of Bleach anime series.

Both of single and album peaked number 2 on Oricon Top 200 Weekly. Finally, UVERworld will release their new single on next July, 2010, titled Ultimate.
